If I only needed to lose 20 pounds…

Would I still choose to eat low carb if I only had 20 lbs to lose?  The answer is yes.  It would be slightly different than the ultra low carb I am eating now, but I would still reduce my carb intake for only 20 lbs.  And that’s my plan.

Right now, my optimal goal is to lose another 46 pounds.  I have already lost 64 pounds within the last 6 months eating a very low carb diet.  So I am getting closer and closer each day.

However, if I only needed to lose 20 lbs, I would eat more carbs than I do at the moment.  Currently, I eat less than 30 grams of carbs per day.  And I am averaging 2 – 3 lbs per week of weight loss as such. 

For me that’s just to get my weight down to a more manageable and healthier level.  But  my life plan is still to eat only about 100 grams per day.  And to keep that in the form of whole foods, no preservatives and little to no sweeteners.  Should be fun once I get there and at this rate only a couple more months to go…
